Dear Beautiful Girl

Dear beautiful girl,

The time will come when you will look in the mirror and realize the value of who stands before you.  You will see beauty, strength, and wisdom where you once saw only a flawed body and a weak mind.  Your patience will be tested, your path will be questioned, and you will cry... a lot.  Don't give up, all of the trials will be worth it in the end.

Be frugal and responsible but find ways to enjoy life.  You can travel, eat, drink, and explore but remember that moderation is key and the future needs to be prepared for... it'll sneak up on ya!

Your adoration and admiration should only be granted to those who are worthy.  The pop stars and models are interesting but please give your admiration to the free spirits, writers, philosophers, teachers, and gypsies... they will give you stories to tell and lessons to teach your children.

Money isn't everything and contrary to popular belief, it does not bring you happiness.  Surround yourself with like minded people who truly enjoy life... not the monetary gains of life.  This will bring you happiness.

Fall in love often.  Fall in love with friends... fall in love with family... fall in love with nature... fall in love with life... fall in love with love.  Love often and love fiercely.  It will hurt you, it will make you cry, it will make you bitter but it will absolutely be worth every minute.

Remember at all times that you have only one life to live.  Live fiercely and responsibly.  Love wholeheartedly and cautiously.

  1. Beyond beautiful - love love love this.

  2. And what a beautiful post by a beautiful woman. Thank you so much for sharing!! I love this even more since I also just wrote on how we are beautiful :) We can never remind ourselves and tell each other this too much. Hope you have a great week.

    1. I couldn't agree more... it is so easy to insult each other and feel jealous yet difficult to lift each other up. It is so unfortunate. Thank you so much!

  3. Beautifully written post. Thank you for sharing this.
