The Uh-Oh Club

Accepting and coping with change is never easy.  I guess that's why so many phrases like,  "Life's a bitch" have been penned.

How does one go about coping?  Isn't there some sort of program or support group we can join?  Hasn't anybody invented the-

I Make Bad Choices and Think I Can Change People and Hope For the Best and Eehhh, It'll Grow On Me and Uh-Oh Club

yet?

In the meantime, I guess I'll just try to adhere to some beautiful quotes I found and focus on me.  Yup, that's what I'll do... focus on me.

I feel better already.

  1. We've all been there -- hang on! A good stress buster that has worked well for me in past stressful times is a nice long soak in a hot bubblebath and epsom salts tub in the dark, with a couple of candles on and relaxing instrumental music playing. Repeat daily.

  3. That Suess quote is one of my favorites:)

Rather than say "Life's a Bitch" I like to say "Life's a Dick". Equal opportunity suckiness, ha ha!

  4. Just the post I need. I've been dealing a lot lately with change. Ghandi said, "You have to be the change you seek." I think he was right. I work with kids. And it can get very frustrating sometimes. But I realize that in order for me to empower them to change, I have to change -- be the positive example. role model. Not easy. Great post! Cheers!!
