Friday's Letters

Dear new Walgreens,
I love you on so many levels.  I love you for your alluring white cosmetics section that is strategically placed next to the window- well played.  I love you for your organic snack section and I love you for your school supplies.  I love you from your fresh white walls to your Wellness Card.

Dear Stevie,
I adore you.  You have an old soul and a youthful heart... an artist's mind and a worker's hands.  I am so happy to have met you... please be mindful with Noah and realize that you have forever and you are young.  No reason to rush- take life day to day and you'll enjoy it to the fullest!

Dear Noah,
I am very happy for you and your new found happiness.  Stevie is a good girl- be careful with her heart and she will be careful with yours.

"Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay"

-Robert Frost

Dear Light,
Thank you for the brilliance of your beauty.  I am eternally aware of the gift you offer and assure you that I am grateful and will not take advantage.

Dear Darkness,
I embrace you.  I realize that it is within you that some of my greatest thoughts occur.  I embrace my fear and nightmares and know that if I give you my respect, I will be allowed to take lessons from you rather than lose myself.
