I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am about joining the Fat Bitch ECourse. This class is made for me. The Fat Bitch course is a year long class that everybody is welcome to join and it is all about empowerment, feminism, and realizing our worth.
I will be documenting each week's assignment on Enjoying the Epiphany; I will be holding myself accountable for accomplishing these assignments because this is important. Empowering myself to own my inner fat bitch is important, hell, I'm not just going to own my inner fat bitch... I'm gonna rock it!
Assignment #1:
Write down 5 things that you are going to do that make you happy. Not "even though you are fat" but because you are fat and awesome. 5 things that have nothing to do with trying for the sake of others. 5 things for yourself and your well being.
Here goes!
#1: I am going to make love to my husband with the lights on, all clothes removed, and without the aid of strategically placed pillows and blankets. This is a big deal. Seriously, I don't have sex with the lights on; there is stuff jiggling that shouldn't be jiggling, body parts twisted in really awkward positions, and facial expressions that should not be mentioned (need I flashback to the "O Face" scene in Office Space?).
#2: I am going to write something beautiful about my body. I am writing an ode or dedication or song about the beauty of my own body.
#3: I am going to start meditating. Well, meditating in my sense of the word. I am going to start spending some time alone with me... maybe I'll work on breathing and clearing my thoughts, maybe I'll read, or maybe I'll take a nap!
#4: I am going to look at myself in the mirror... naked.
#5: I am going to work on some new doodle art.
I will revisit each assignment before the following assignment starts and discuss my progress. I am really excited about this opportunity to rock my inner fat bitch!
