Friday's Letters

Dear Mama,

Thank you for teaching me the difference between a baseboard and a mopboard, usin' elbow grease and scrubbing, ironing your clothes and arning your clothes, washing the windows and warshin' the windas, and that there aint no reason ya caint git em all done in one day.

Thank you for being so strong willed.  Some view your personality as a tad overbearing but I understand you; you did pass it down to me after all.  Your ability to overcome any obstacle astounds me and I can only hope to gain this ability as the years go by.

Your life experiences have given you the strength of a giant and the softness of a grandmother's quilt.  You are more beautiful than a Pacific sunset and your beauty only grows with every passing year.

Mom, I can only pray that you understand how much your support has meant to me and how lovely you are.

Thank you so much for being here for me and Trystan this week.
