What I Learned This Week

I learned the true definition of excelsior (courtesy of Silver Linings Playbook).

I learned that there are very few things more beautiful than driving home to see my boys just in time for a North Pacific sunset.

I learned that living in a hospital is a lot harder than I thought.

I learned that my boys are a lot more mature than I give them credit for.

I learned that 'boy clean' and 'Sarah clean' are two totally different things.  ;-)

I learned that although the house was not perfect when I got home it was a lot better than I thought it would be and I need to be thankful for small miracles.

I learned that my puppies missed me.  Kenya (who weighs about 80 pounds) jumped in my lap and gave me kisses right when I got home!

I learned that Trystan has already seen tremendous improvement so all of this is completely worth it.

I learned that Silver Linings Playbook is brilliant.  The screenplay was absolutely beautiful.

I learned that I love my chaotic, crazy, sometimes tear inducing, yet completely beautiful life.
