Soulfood Monday Link Up

"Acknowledging first that we are more than just a body is a good start to healthy wholeness. Let's take time to feed the soul. We feed our bodies with healthy foods to get enough energy and nutrients for optimal growth and development. We feed and stimulate the mind with books, movies, plays and games for personal and creative development. The same principal applies to feeding the soul. It is just as important to feed the body as it is to feed the soul! After all, the soul is the core of who we are! It is who we are. My own experiences of honoring my soul has helped me make this connection with my very soul. And my life is so much richer in so many ways I could not have even imagined. This is why I refuse to believe that we are just here to work, eat, sleep and die. Yes, these are inevitable experiences we live as human beings, but we are spiritual beings as well. So join me every Monday with a different food for the soul!"
-Mayra (Ponder Wonders)

This week has started out to be very trying. My faith has been shaken, my patience has run thin, and it's only Monday! I truly and wholeheartedly hope that people get what they wish for and that they find themselves. Once you discover yourself, everything else usually falls into place.

Don't let the past steal your present or dictate your future.

One problem with gazing too frequently into the past is that we may turn around to find the future has run out on us.

Join us in feeding our souls. Link up for Soulfood Monday!

  3. I love the quote you've included. We all have hard things we've gone through but we have to live our lives in the present. Sweet hugs to you!

  4. Some great little quotes about looking forward instead of toward the past! Sometimes I need to remember things like that because I can get horribly nostalgic for days on end. Thanks for sharing!
