Sunday Funday

I am posting something a little bit different tonight. Today was Sunday Funday in our house and I did absolutely NOTHING. That's very weird if you know me. I'm a go-getter and spend all of my days off cleaning, organizing, baking, taking the boys on outings, or just being productive in general. My day consisted of: going to the store to purchase junk food, taking a nap, watching Wanted on Fx, and trolling the web. That's it. The end.

So tonight I thought it'd be fun to post pictures that let you get to know me a little bit better. You're welcome.

I am dying for this headband; I'm going to try to make it!

I love this picture. I took it while driving from Phoenix to Oregon; maybe I love it because I took it through the windshield while on my way to a life changing decision. Hmmm?

I NEED to make these mine.

David LaChapelle is one of my favorite photographers and John Waters is brilliant. What a magical coupling!

Ohhhh, she was an absolute beauty.

Preach Maya.

Love this!

I love everything about this. I miss this culture so much; I was raised in Yuma, Arizona (on the Mexican border) and since I made many Mexican-American friends who I considered family, I attended many quinceneras, weddings, etc. Every November 1 we went to Sonora, Mexico to participate in Dia de los Muertos.

I love me some wine (occasionally... and remember, stay thirsty my friends.)

  1. Haha. I love the "I use bad words" one. That should probably be plastered all over my blog.

  2. I know! Maybe we should make it our backgrounds! How are you my friend? How was your Sunday?

  3. That headband and those chucks - *love*. And I didn't grow up near Mexican culture but I fell in love with all things Spanish when I was in high school. Love Dia de Los Muertos.

  4. Great blog, Sarah! Love your sense of humour!

  5. Hi there! Thanks so much for popping by my blog. You have some great selections here :)
    I've followed you back <3

  6. Thank you so much for the new follow, of course I would return the favor after reading though some of your post! Anyways, I am in love with the butterfly headband as well as the ee card!
